Thursday, Ky took his final car ride. It was getting increasingly harder for him to get around and he was developing a large tumor on his chest. And, he'd put up with Shadoe for long enough.
I remember Ky as a very warm and affectionate (though wary of strangers) dog who accompanied me on more runs than I think he would have gone on if he wasn't such a loyal training partner. He even ran with me in the rain ... crazy dog! : - )
He enjoyed wandering off and coming back when he wanted, trips in the car - especially to the beach and glacier, and Breeze In donuts (who doesn't?). He will be missed, but he was a good (for the most part) dog who brought smiles (and kisses) to most the people who knew him.

Sad to hear it. Ky will be fondly remembered by me. I still remember when we first got him and he tried to chew out of the house.

Yes, apart from the little ransacking incident in my bedroom, he was a pretty good dog! The fact that he was a nice, sweet, loving dog is apparent just looking at his photo. May he have a lifetime of treats and fine weather waiting for him in doggy heaven!
I'm so sorry to hear about Kai. I remember him as a stellar dog & he had a good life with you. Love to you and Shadoe as you adjust to the change...
