I'm taking a break from packing books and thought I'd post a brief update on the move activities. Tom left for Boulder Wednesday morning. Somehow he got out of here before the books were packed and lugged to the PO. I didn't know until today that I could lift a 50 pound box. Where's Evan when I need him? Anyway, 16 boxes delivered and maybe not quite that many more to go.
Movers took most of our stuff away Monday. It will hopefully arrive in Boulder before the end of August. I'm betting it comes while Tom is on a 3 day class retreat at the beginning of the semester.
Saturday Tom's mom is helping me put on a moving sale. I hope to have all the c*** dealt with and be able to get a ticket out of here either Wednesday or Thursday morning. The house is going on the market (along with tons of others; the market's depressed at the moment)and the first showing, for realtors, is Wednesday morning.
Tanya took Punky to Meredith's. Punky will be traveling to Boulder sometime after we're settled. Meanwhile Samantha is dealing with all the commotion the way any sane animal would by crawling under a mound of covers and napping all day. Wish I could do the same.
Meanwhile, I went for my physical awhile back and was referred to physical therapy for the ankle I sprained a year ago. I squeezed in 2 appointments to learn the exercises to do but haven't managed the time to do any of them yet.
FYI--my new mailing address is 3077 29th St, Apt 212, Boulder, CO 80301. New e-mail, for those who didn't record it on the first posting, is ktromble@suchwhat.com.

Do you get to use one of those big rubber band things for your rehab?
Just fyi, I'm in Oklahoma right now (that's where I am when you need me).
Yes, to the big rubber band thing. I'm supposed to tie one end to the well (I think) ankle and one end to a table leg or somesuch. Then stand on the one foot with the hurt ankle and swing the other foot back and forth. Maybe I'll try it sometime.
