Just another Friday?

Of course not. Friday was a Friday of firsts for Andrew. It started with his first 3 lap walk around the neighborhood with the dogs. His previous record high was 2 laps. But, since he just sleeps through most of the walk, he doesn't really care how far we go as long as the weather conditions are reasonable.

Then, it was time for Andrew's first trip to the airport. I took his picture while we were waiting outside of security. The new experiences continued when Andrew met G'pa Galen for the first time. And, since we were already on the west side of OKC, we decided to make Andrew's first trip to Chipotle. Dad captured a picture of Andrew at Chipotle, although I don't know whether or not you can tell we're at Chipotle from the picture.

After lunch, we headed east to Babies R Us to get more bassinet sheets and changing table pad covers. Glamorous? Not exactly. Necessary? Certainly. Andrew was hungry when we got home (not a first). So, he ate while G'pa got situated in the Nemo room. But, after he was finished, he got to hang out with G'pa for the first time.

A few hours later, Andrew made his first trip to Buffalo Wild Wings. I had boneless wings, G'pa had a blackened chicken salad and Jenn ate a grilled chicken wrap with buffalo sauce. The night was capped with Andrew's first Stanley Cup Finals game 7 - although I taped it so the game watching spilled in to Saturday morning - and Andrew's first tornado warning. Don't fret, the rotating wall cloud was never really close to us and when the sirens started going off, it was already about 10 miles away moving farther away. I'm not sure why the sirens were going off up here. We did get a little bit of rain and some thunder and lightning, though.

That disembodied head thing is really creeping me out!

By the way, do you think the Pirates can complete the Pittsburgh 2009 trifecta? They're only 6 games out!

It's still attached!

And, no ... the Pirates are not going to win the WS. They'll be lucky to go 82-82!!! : - )

Andrew has the biggest hands/longest fingers and biggest feet I've ever seen on a baby. His feet look just like a miniature version of an adult foot -- proportions are perfect -- I predict size 18!

Better start putting shoe money aside now!

Money? We have a baby. We don't have any money!
