Recap: Starting mid January, Maëva got strep and bronchitis. Laureva got strep. End of January, Sylvain got flu. Sunday, both girls came down with tonsillitis.
Maëva returned to school yesterday. Just long enough to catch another bug. She threw up immediately on waking up this morning and I spent the day cleaning up stomach flu related mishaps rather than resting as I'd hoped to recover from a cold. Today was not fun. Hopefully, Maëva will be able to keep down medicine tomorrow and things will get better.

The Fun Never Ends

One of my friends recently told me her 3 year old recently came into her room in the middle of the night and vomited on her face. So, things could be worse.
This is why I don't have children!
Sounds more like the fun never gets to start!
You don't have any children, dad?
How's Maeva doing today?
Maëva is on the mend. She seems to be herself this morning. We saw the pediatrician yesterday and she said it can take up to two weeks to fully recover from stomach flu. As soon as Maëva ate some of the sugary things recommended by the doctor, she started feeling better. Lack of sugar can cause even more nausea, apparently. No other problems and her tonsillitis is gone so the unfinished antibiotics shouldn't be an issue.
Hope this doesn't post multiple times.
