Laureva's Big Beach Adventure

Except for the occasional storm blowing through, temperatures have been balmy recently, in the high sixties, with skies clear and sunny. We decided to take a break today to take Laureva to the beach in La Ciotat. We went late morning, ate lunch on the beach, then came back early afternoon when a cool breeze started to pick up.

Laureva enjoyed playing in the sand. She was scared of the water lapping up the beach, though, so after an initial foray with Sylvain upon arrival (above), she declined to go back down to the water with him.
It was nice and warm on the sand in the sun. There weren't many people in the water. Sylvain went in twice for short swims. He thought the water temp couldn't have been much more than sixty. Way too chilly for me. I sat on the beach in the sun and watched Laureva play.
