I had a wonderful time with Galen in DC, at the tail end of my visit there for the College Art Association Meeting. He teaches a great yoga class! And the kitties Flopsy, Muffy, and Lil Boose are awesome. I didn't get to see Pam for the sad reason that her father had just passed away. Sending warm and loving thoughts to Pam and her family...

Sorry to hear about Pam's father. My thoughts are with her.
Pam's dad passed away early Sunday morning, and Pam left for the airport before Meredith arrived. M and I had a nice day, including the yoga class, and Monday morning we left a bit before 6 to walk over to the Metro. Meredith headed off for National airport, and I walked one more block over to work to teach the Monday morning yoga class at 7.
I flew out to Illinois on Wednesday night. The service for Perry was Thursday morning, and the whole family - Pam and Cindy with husbands and all the grandchildren (5 of them) were there.
I flew home Friday. Pam is still in Rock Island and will be for a few more days.
