At the zoo yesterday, we enjoyed seeing lots of baby/young animals: red lemurs, piglets, surikats, otters, porcupines. The young otters and crested porcupines that were babies in April are just as big as their parents now. Before leaving, we stopped for one last look at the otters. Maëva saw one of them raise its paw as if to wave goodbye! Very exciting. Unfortunately, I missed it.
There's a new ferme pédagogique portion of the zoo. The girls enjoyed seeing the cute bunnies and guinea pigs and had fun going inside the corral with the little goats who seemed to be playing king of the rock.
