Monday, we hit the road early to go skiing—the four Seattle skiers, plus the Taylors. Conditions were the best we've had so far, but still far from the standard for this time of year. The boys have both progressed significantly, and are around the level where they finished last year, though we haven't tried any black diamonds, yet.
Tuesday, we met Abhinav for a tour of the Amazon Spheres. But first, Nicole took Lloyd to the vet again. His bladder was obstructed and he was in obvious discomfort. They put in a catheter, and then after the Spheres we transferred him to the vet in Green Lake for further treatment and overnight observation. They called to report that it had gone well, and he may be ready sooner than expected tomorrow. I don't know if I'm just projecting, but Rookie seems unsettled without him.
