Friday was a blue sky day with summer temperatures in Seattle. Colin had a concert at the end of the school day to wrap up the Elementary Instrumental Music program. Nicole and I attended. She got coverage for her class. I'm sure Colin performed admirably, but we couldn't make out his sound from the long line of violins.
We all went over to a friend's house for dinner. Lambert and Uma had invited another family as well. Their daughter does MathCounts with Nicole, but we hadn't met the parents. The dad is Japanese-Peruvian, but went to school in French-speaking Belgium, while the mom is from Kansas.
We didn't get home until late, but some of us decided to watch the recorded Storm game anyway. They were in Las Vegas tonight. First Eric, then Rachel, and finally Nicole fell asleep, but I made it through.

We've also been having some clear sky days. The Sun is so intense now that even 70 degrees can feel hot if I'm out in the sun.
