The day started with an interval run. I was supposed to do 10 x 400 m intervals, but I discovered a 0.51-mile Strava segment with an obtainable fastest time nearby. So, I set out about 8 a.m. to do my intervals and best the 3:02 time. Dad headed out to run at the same time, in the same area, though not doing the same thing.
I warmed up, did a couple 400 m intervals up Little Mountain Road (in the vicinity of the segment), then a third one back south on Little Mountain towards the segment start. I ran the segment, clocking (official Strava time) 2:47. I ran another 400 m interval back, then did the segment again, just for fun, this time clocking 2:50. I finished up with two more 400s south down Little Mountain, then the last two headed east on Warner. Dad and I finished the run together; there's a picture from running up the driveway to document it.
What else happened today? Lucas, dad, and I threw the football around a bit after the run (Lucas was getting back after walking the dogs about the same time dad and I got back from running). Roy's crew and Kristen came out a little before 11 a.m. (I think). Rachel was working on some things (e.g., international driver's license, etc.). We ate lunch. We played more charades. We played frisbee in the yard. We went for pizza at a place between here and Trout Lake (Mount Adams Pizza). It was really good. Here are a few pictures I snapped ... I told people to make goofy faces, but I think only Eric and Rachel followed those instructions ... especially Eric.
We left the pizza place about 5:30, with the Seattleites headed back to Seattle. The rest of us headed to the farm. What else? Laundry, packing, dog walk (and various other animal things), work, time sheet, etc. Kristen left about 7:30 (I think).
We're planning on heading out about 6 a.m. tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be an uneventful trip.

We really enjoyed having the crew at the farm. Lots of charading and object tossing out in the yard behind the house. The pups are going to miss all of their extra pack members.
