Dad sent me an article about his antler collection, which is now housed in a local Goodland barbershop. I thought the article was hilarious (on many levels). For any of you who didn't receive your own copy, you can access it online.
Dad noted a few corrections by hand in the first 2 paragraphs of the last column. Meredith will be surprised (and, no doubt, horrified, to read) that dad remembers "his oldest daughter being a really proud hunter...." [corrected to "son, Galen"]. Dad also noted that my 19 out of 25 hits with a shotgun was "bluerocks"and that the salmon gift was from his daughter-in-law (not his "daughter" as printed.).

Yes -- when I was there last month Dad told me that he had talked to the newspaper about doing an article on the antlers in the barber shop. I guess the reporter got him going on the stories.
I'm really grateful to the barber for taking the antlers. The shop sounds like a unique experience.
