We have a few more years (until December 13, 2014) this century for sequential dates like today's. Thought it would be worth noting.
I'm working today (well, actually, I'm posting on the BLOG, but I will be working) after walking in and doing a short 15min bike ride in the gym. Plan for the evening is for Pam and I to metro down and hear the Monday night big band (excellent) at the Bohemian Caverns on U street. Galen

Late start?
Americans are the only ones who get to benefit from the excitement of it being a consecutive number date day. In France, and most of the rest of the world, I think, today is 9-8-10. Not as exciting.
Today I'm working on my dissertation. At 6pm we're going to Christian and Annick's house to celebrate their daughter Fanny's fifth birthday. Fanny is always asking me how to say things in English so at lunchtime I drove up to Aix to get her an English vocabulary book, but the bookstore was closed. Bummer!
Just wait until September 8th, Tanya.
We're celebrating . . . but primarily because it's our anniversary, not because of three-in-a-row.
I'm dancing naked through the streets of the OKC with thousands of other three-in-a-row date enthusiasts!
J/k ... obviously.
Pictures, Evan -- we demand pictures!!
Congratulations Roy and Nicole!!
Oops, gotta answer the door -- I think the exclamation point police have arrived!!!!!
How am I supposed to take pictures of myself dancing? Seriously!
Who said anything about taking the pictures yourself?
