We're supposed to have people out at the house today to work on various things. For instance, we're supposed to have our garage door openers installed around noon today. Flooring guys are here now caulking between the edge of the floor and the cabinets in the kitchen. Oh, what excitement!
This morning, I retrieved my home desk chair from OU, so I'm working from my new office. I don't have an office at school, anymore.

Garage door guy here. Working.
Trim carpenter here ... not really sure why.
Builder here to supervise ... good, I didn't want to have to do that job!
Electrician is here ... and gone.
Painter and tile people here now. Not sure who else is going to make an appearance.

Tree people are here now.
New tree planted, correct location. I'm not sure why they didn't move the other tree. These people are crazy. I wonder if they thought it was dead because it lost all it's leaves ... I don't know. I thought they were just going to move the tree.
We got a garage door that you can set to close automatically after a prescribed amount of time. This should help with the "Did I close the garage door?" issue I had at the old house. It really had nothing to do with the old house ... it's a personal problem. Once, I think it was the first year we were there, I returned from school to find that I hadn't closed the door. Often, at the old house, I would not remember and just go around the block and confirm the closure.
Backsplash corrected to match the other side. Man, it's nice having garage door openers!
DELIVERY! We got a replacement chair for one with a jacked up arm.
Uh oh. They're coming back ... this one isn't square, so it's a rocking club chair (if the front right leg is on the ground, the back right one isn't, and vice versa!). Good thing Jenn is on maternity leave to be here all the time!
