The Legacy Is Here

As many of you already know, the Friday before Christmas, we bought a new car. For those of you who didn't, now you do. We kicked the tires on some of the other models, specifically the Outback and Forester. We might get an Outback down the road, but didn't think we'd need it now. One of the cool things the Legacy and Outback have - a CVT - isn't available on the Forester, yet. Plus, Jenn wanted a sedan, although it's all in her mind. It seems smaller, but it really isn't. All three models are, essentially, the same size (X-Y, not Z).

I've only been in it on the way home from the dealership. We haven't put the car seats in it yet, but Jenn has been driving it to work. So, I haven't figured out all the bells and whistles yet. But, it has all the basic things that we wanted. It has an audio jack, and it is located in the center console, so your ipod isn't hanging out in plain view. It has a trunk release on the key fob, which is handy when you're carrying kids and groceries.

Meredith was the first out-of-town Tromble to see the new house in person, as well as the first overnight visitor. However, both she and dad left before the car purchase, although dad and I went by the dealership a few times while he was here. It seems like Jenn likes it, so that's good; it's a nice car.
