Maëva's and Lydia's First Christmas

The tree toppled over with a clash in the wee hours of Christmas morning, waking me from well-deserved slumber. I once again messed up the cinnamon rolls and also managed to mess up the angel food cake for the first time. But the pumpkin and pecan pies turned out well, as did the eggnog! And the fact that the Girauds and the Pittsburgh Trombles were together meant there was enough holiday cheer to compensate for any mishaps! The girls all seemed to enjoy each other. M loved watching her cousins. R liked holding M and singing for her. And L liked giving M kisses. Super cute! The adults enjoyed good company, pastis, champagne, wine and eggnog! It was great to have people around who appreciated my Christmas music! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone!
