The girls watched Trolls at least once a day from December 31st to January 7th! Now that they've gone back to school, they've gone back to watching other things when they have TV time in the evenings. Phew. They still like playing the soundtrack and dancing around, though, so there's quite a lot of Justin Timberlake in the house these days.
They also finished off the holidays in style with two trips to the movie theater in three days, on either side of the circus. Thursday, Marie-Elisabeth took them to see Ferdinand with Jackye and Gabrielle. Maëva reportedly didn't like it. Something to do with the idea of people wanting to kill Ferdinand. Boo. Saturday, Maryelle took them to see Coco. Once again, Maëva didn't like it (This is not a new thing, she often doesn't really like movies because of mean characters. I was actually surprised she took so well to Trolls.) Something to do with the idea of Miguel getting in trouble for breaking the rules. Boo. She actually asked to leave in the middle of the movie, but they stayed because Laureva was enjoying it.

We saw Coco in December. I thought it was great.
It included a trailer for Ferdinand. I was disturbed, because one glimpse of the bull made me think of blackface, and it would not go away.
