Uber to the Mandalay Bay. Check in. Stop by ACE registration. Lunch at Subway. Yeah, I know, lame. A little work. Workshop. The workshop is why we came out today.
Well, the workshop was lackluster. Star had it right. As soon as the workshop started, Star crawled into my bag and took a nap.
Why was the workshop lackluster? Because an amazing portion of the 3 hours was spent 1) in small groups having discussions (which wasn't horrible), 2) going around the room sharing the small group discussions with the whole group (generally, a colossal waste of time), and 3) having a bathroom break (ok, it was probably justified).
There was a little bit of good general info shared, but it would have been a better workshop with more expert input, including a more diverse panel that could bring additional examples and perspectives. Oh well.
The rest of the day consisted of working out, walking the strip to get dinner, getting dinner, and walking back. Winding down now. Time to check out what's on tap for tomorrow.
