Giddy Gliding, etc.

Maëva lost a tooth yesterday. Front bottom left, next to her eye tooth. It came out at Marie-Elisabeth's house, though, and she forgot to tell us about it until after she was in bed, so we haven't appropriated the tooth yet to put out for the tooth fairy.

This morning, I took Maëva back to Aubagne for more ice skating. Laureva declined the invitation, preferring to go grocery shopping with her grandmother. That meant that I got to join Maëva in the larger area of the rink where there's more room to move around. We skated for an hour! I very much enjoyed the sensation of gliding across the ice which makes you feel so light, almost what you might imagine flying to feel like. Of course, afterwards we had to go to Clément & Olivier for hot chocolate. Maëva was disappointed that they were out of brownies, so on the way home, we stopped off to get eggs so we can make our own brownies this afternoon.

Sylvain went out for a run this morning sporting his new green long-sleeve running top from Evan. He beat his length record, running a 24/25 kilometer loop through Aubagne, Garlaban and Roquevaire. Back home, he showered and changed into his new green Climate Yogi t-shirt from Dad to drink a coordinating green smoothie!
