Lucas turned 12 today, as he was born on 9/10/11.
Lucas at 12. He's very smart, although reading isn't his jam like it is for some Trombles. He has always been one to prefer interacting, rather than solo endeavors. He tells me that he is one of two kids in his class who consistently raise their hand and answer questions.
He holds the number 1 ranking in the household for Mario Kart. He's an avid sports fan, and he'll often call and/or text about sports. We enjoyed the Dallas beatdown of the NY Giants this evening. We are slated to go to the OU @ BYU game on 11/18 and the TCU @ OU game the day after Thanksgiving. Yes, he's an avid Sooners fan!
He loves the pups. I think he has an especially soft spot for Harper because she's so mellow and the best snuggle buddy. He loves the Aussies, too, but doesn't always like it when they get a little crazy (which still happens, but Izzy is calming down a bit). Another favorite of Lucas's is me sending him pics of the girls.
Lucas loves the pool ... right Rachel? He also seems to enjoy the FlowRider, mostly choosing to body board, rather than try stand up.
Anyway, that's a little about Lucas.

Love hearing about Lucas. Glad there is another kid in his class who participates actively -- at least I think it's more fun when you are not the only one. His love of sports was clear even in the few days we got to spend together in Kansas. Maybe he will like interacting through blog posts of his own some day!
