Cat Napshot

Harry and Dobby got vaccines Thursday morning. They didn't much like getting stuck with the needle, but neither seemed to hold a grudge. The vet said they might sleep a little more than usual for a day. Luckily, they have a big comfy cat bed to rest on that Nora brought over for them last week (A coworker had given it to her, but her cat had never taken to it.):

Harry weighed in at 2.5 kilos, Dobby at 1.5. The vet said we could start letting them outside, if we wanted. They surprised her by being much more agile jumpers and climbers than she'd expected. However, I think we'll wait a little more before letting the little guys out. Tuesday, in the middle of the night, a big black cat with white mittens came into Marie-Elisabeth's house and got into a fight with Casimir. I had seen it on our veranda a day or so before. It's definitely a housecat, but we don't know whose. We'll make sure Casimir has run it off before we let Harry and Dobby out to roam.
