Saturday, Maëva had a day at the park with her scout troop, followed by a birthday sleepover at Magda's house. Friday evening and Saturday morning, she prepared birthday cakes for the party. You can see her scout scarf in the photos. She hadn't received her scout shirt yet.

The scout day consisted of a variety of games organized by the troop leaders, who were dressed up as different characters, including Scooby's Shaggy (Sammy in France). I don't remember the two others. One of the games Maëva described involved trying to reach a target before being identified by the guardian. No touching allowed. Players could exchange clothing in order to try to confuse the guardian. They also spent some time rolling down a grassy hill, which was Maëva's explanation for why her shirt was so dirty when I saw her in the evening. Eventually, once the kids in the troop get to know each other better, they will decide on a charity to support and an action to carry out later in the year.
