Have you ever visited someone and found yourself succumbing to less than ideal activities, pre-arranged, that you had no prior knowledge of? If decorating a classroom, attending a middle school talent show, and watching middle schoolers try to manipulate 4 integers (1-9) into 24, isn't your idea of fun ... request an itinerary.
Well, that's a brief rundown of the events so far ... none too painful, although the talent show was somewhat lacking in talent and the sound system wasn't idea ... and I was tired and fell asleep a few times. And, no matter what anyone else tries to tell you, 24 is not a good spectator activity. However, on the bright side, we've gone to Chipotle twice.
Tomorrow, we're meeting up with dad for lunch and to deposit me in Silver Spring. But, that's not until after the Idaho Day Party tonight ... even though there is no Idaho Day. Odd. Oh yeah, if anyone offers you sweet potato ice cream ... ask for vanilla. Who makes vegetable ice cream? What's next asparagus sorbet? I'm sure I'll get my fill of potatos tonight.

Oh, ... since Evan requested an itinerary:
We have arranged to attend a middle school talent show Sunday afternoon here in Silver Spring.
:)
Dad
I've had fennel-flavored cotton candy before! Not bad, actually. Any photos available of the spud party?
I think everything just looks like starch.
Dad
Roy has some.
