The nightly entertainment has been a dancing baby show. Saturday night it took on a new twist -- nude baby dancing, when the main act escaped with only a hooded bath towel before the wardrobe department could provide a suitable costume.
Sunday Nicole set off to work out, only to discover they weren't open. So she came home and started weeding the strip between the sidewalk and the curb. That then led to pulling up the uneven bricks that had been hiding under the weeds. After the bricks were pulled out, apparently a feast of bugs was uncovered. Rachel enjoyed watching the "duck" that came to feast on them.
Once the project was completed, we were all "chilling" in the back yard. All of a sudden, we heard a loud thud. We looked up and discovered an intruder in the downhill neighbor's back yard ... munching on fallen, stunted apples. YUM! When the intruder headed toward Nicole's miniature farm, we shooed it away and it departed the way it had come.

Did you add the leaping deer one on later?
Nope ... it was there and the whole point of the post. Although we were having a bit of trouble with it and had some intermediate posts ... but Tanya should have been asleep at the time! And she hasn't come back while we've been outside.
Where was it leaping to? Is it clear of the far side of the house?
It was in the downhill neighbor's yard. It was leaping over the fence into the alley. Then it walked across the street and down the alley on the other side.

Actually, I had that figured out. On first glance, it looks like it's going to run into the house ... but I guess if you look closely you can see that the nose of the deer is behind the downspout.
