Enthusiasm!

Yesterday afternoon, the girls and I went to Décathlon to buy roller blades and pads for Timéo's birthday present. His birthday is today. It was hard for Maëva to walk out of the store with just the gift for her friend because she really wants roller blades, too. They have pink ones, with matching pads and bright pink helmets. But we told her she has to wait for her birthday and be a good girl in order to get them. This afternoon, I'm taking Maëva to ride ponies with Timéo. It will be the first time for both of them. When Maëva woke up this morning, she said, "Mommy, I love roller blading and riding ponies!" Hopefully, with that positive attitude, she can only but enjoy both activities once she actually tries them.
