While I was still in Alaska and involved with the Rainbow Girls, Mom made me a beautiful ivory Chinese dress. It must be nearly twenty years old now. Friday evening, I pulled it out of the closet to wear to the Soirée Asiatique for the Fête.
The dress and I got lots of compliments. Thanks, Mom!

You look overdressed.
Lots of people were dressed up. But I arrived late, so missed picture taking time. The Cours was decorated with red Chinese lanterns and was quite pretty. If the photo were taken from the opposite direction, you probably would have seen other dressed up people in the background.
