Laureva: 15 Months!

Laureva is fifteen months old today. Her seventh tooth is coming in. She eats pasta and cornflakes with a spoon and banana slices with a tiny fork.

She drinks from a straw and likes to grab her sister's elephant cup off the table at every opportunity. She can climb up onto the bench and onto her sister's chair. She is always getting into trouble for standing up on the bench. When she just can't stop being naughty, she gets strapped into her highchair for time out. She can walk backwards and likes to back away from people with a sheepish grin on her face. She now understands about picking out stories for story time. She also now understands about giving kisses and saying goodnight at bedtime. For the time being, however, her kisses are more like head butts. She is starting to understand about stacking, not just knocking down. She is starting to understand how the wooden jungle animal puzzle works. She likes saying "two!" and getting flipped over backwards off of my lap. She likes roughhousing with her sister. She's a pretty busy girl!

It sounds like you may have the female version of Lucas on your hands. Good luck!

Yep, the three Ls: Lydia, Lucas and Laureva!!! I can't say I wasn't warned. I just didn't think the name was that important. Now, it's too late to go back.
