Breakfast Apple Pop

Laureva woke up this morning with a very precise vision of what she would prepare for my breakfast. It apparently came to her in a dream because at one point she complained about it not turning out exactly as it had looked in her sleep. She cut an apple in half to reveal the star inside. Then she placed three slices of banana on the cut face of the apple, saying they were the eyes and nose. Then she planted a toothpick in the bottom of the apple and said I was supposed to hold it like a lollipop to eat it. However, it wouldn't stay intact on a plate that way. She decided we could remove the toothpick so the apple would sit flat on the plate and not make the banana slide off. She laid the toothpick on the plate beside it and said that I was to put it back in when I was ready to eat it. She then carefully set the table along with my cup of coffee, saucer and tiny spoon. I served myself a few scoops of Greek yogurt in a bowl to accompany the fruit. When she saw it on the table, she decided to add a small dollop of yogurt to the top of each banana slice as a decorative flourish.
