It was too late for Laureva to go to her group ski lessons so she and I stayed at the hotel to wait for our friends to come down from the slopes for lunch. We had rescheduled Maëva's private lesson from 10 to 1, so Sylvain headed out to get her there on time. He left her with her instructor, Pascal Giraud!, and joined us for lunch at the hotel. Sylvain went to pick Maëva up at 2pm. She'd had a great lesson and ridden up in the eggs with her instructor to ski on the real slopes! Sylvain had been planning to ski with her in the afternoon, but she was cold, tired and famished and ready to call it a day. Understandably so. She started devouring the ham and cheese sandwich the nice cook at the hotel had kindly prepared for her since her lesson was during lunchtime. In the afternoon, Sylvain skied with the group; the girls and I hung out in the village with Jeannette, Jean-Louis and Michel shopping for goggles for Jean-Louis, playing in the snow and stopping for crêpes. Back at the hotel in the evening, the girls ran around playing with Jade and we enjoyed a nice meal of vegetable soup and tartiflette. I made it an early night for the girls and I. Up to bed at about 10pm. Yeah! The day managed to turn from bust to best!
