Sedona is an oddly shaped community built on private lands that wind in and around National Forest. Along about a mile long stretch of highway 89A, that connects two areas, I discovered a trailhead to a hiking area called Adobe Jack, named after an early settler. This was last Wednesday afternoon not long after I arrived in Sedona, and I was tired after a short night, long flight, and 2 hour drive. It was nice to find a spot to wander in for a while.
