Lydia's report card

Lydia's homeroom teacher had this to say:

Lydia continues to work hard in second grade. This trimester, our spelling and writing have become more complex. In writing we have covered both narrative and informative writing, including writing about Antarctica and Asia as well as authoring an animal report and a Polar Regions book. Lydia is engaged in her learning and enjoys new challenges. Lydia is a fantastic reader with solid comprehension. She is currently reading above grade level and should continue to practice reading appropriately rigorous books at home. I enjoy having Lydia in class!
Her math teacher says:
This winter, students have developed an understanding of the operations of multiplication and division, which included problem solving, and the Properties of Multiplication. Lydia continues to do well in all assessed mathematical areas and I'm looking forward to her continued academic growth.
