New Friends

My university friend Jocelyn came to visit yesterday from Perpignan with his partner, Clémentine, and their two children, Edgar (5) and Cléa (1). They stayed the night. Leading up to the visit, our girls had been unsure whether or not they would hit it off with the new kids. They needn't have worried. It was a great fit from the get go. We went to meet them in the village because they had trouble finding the house. Edgar immediately jumped in our car for the short ride and started conversing with Maëva and Laureva. From last night until early this afternoon, all four kids got on perfectly playing baby toys with Cléa, dress up, doctor, click together jewelry, Just Dance, Jenga . . .

At lunch today, Edgar went up to Sylvain and asked him if he could come back again! Both kids were really lovely (and trust me, I don't think that about all kids!) and a pleasure to have at the house. We've been invited to visit them in Perpignan for a long weekend during which Maëva will be able to see the mummy at the Natural History Museum.
