Ankle update

Sunday evening, we dropped off Lydia and Colin at Camp Casey, on Whidbey Island, for a week of Ultimate camp. Monday evening, Eric wanted to go to the Queen Anne community Ultimate at Big Howe. I agreed. I was not intending to play, at first, but I changed my mind and decided to try it. My ankle felt good enough that I might play in my team's final playoff game tomorrow, too. (They played two games while I was in White Salmon.)

Speaking of that trip, here's the stack of books I returned with:

One was from Meredith, one from Hood River, and the rest from Powell's. None are new. The used book selection at Powell's is excellent.

Rachel found a number of books herself, but Colin just one. He's in between middle grade and YA, I think, and not sure what he wants to read about. But we remembered Rachel enjoyed Scythe when she was in sixth grade, and Colin was sold on the blurb comparing it to Hunger Games. He took it with him to camp. Will he finish it there?

I was reading Lincoln in the Bardo during the trip, too.
