Here is the recap:
- Up early to do an interval run at the track at Columbia HS. 12 x 400 m intervals. I had to run the outside lanes because the football team was doing conditioning in lanes 1-4, so my intervals ended up being about 8% long.
- Off to the store to get food for lunch and dinner.
- Lunch at the house.
- I took a work call (interviewing someone to hire) at 1:30 p.m.
- Others left about 3 to head to a park on the Columbia 45+ minutes east; Julie and I left about 3:30, if memory serves ... maybe all of us were a little later.
- People were playing frisbee when Julie and I arrived. Others were swimming. I joined in the frisbee. Julie sat at the table and conversed.
- Picnic dinner.
- Goaltimate game after dinner. We played one round, with Roy and I starting on one team, but mixing things up through substitutions. Then, we took a break. Then, we played one more round. My team beat Roy's 2-1! The game ended when Roy went down with an ankle injury. It looked gruesome, but he shook it off and was able to hike the falls the next day.
- Back to the house for ice cream - cookie dough and caramel swirl.
Here are Lucas and Rachel with Little Peep.

I think the Talenti Sea Salt Caramel ice cream Kristen picked out is my new favorite flavor.
