My best trip pics have been posted to Tanya's Google Album, with Anwyl's help. I'm back at work on art/plans for our Dublin/UK trip the middle of October, which today took the glamorous form of going to the Apple store to get a backup drive and finding I need to make another trip to the Apple store for a USB-C to Lightning adapter so I can use the drive. Sigh. Anyone else running around cursing the peculiarities of modern data transmission? It sounds like I knew what I was doing but this short summary follows several hours of combing through our stuff in case we had an adapter that would work and staring stupidly at our dozens of variations on the form, none of which had the right stuff. In more cheerful news, we now have a neighborhood cat friend, quite secure in his happy home, but eager enough for visitors that he comes running from wherever he is to be petted when we walk by. We've been walking by quite a lot!

I have had that experience before. Apple certainly contributes significantly to the issue because their stuff is generally less compatible.
