Look at the pretty Honda Civic. For those of you who don't know (I don't think there are many of you out there), Jenn's Mazda Protege lost a battle to a big black SUV just before Christmas. It wasn't really a fair fight! So, last Tuesday, we set out to find Jenn a new car (not sure what we'll do with the Protege, but we have a number of different options once the estimate comes in). We were intending to buy a new car, but stumbled on this pretty 2003 with ~26,000 miles on it (less than Jenn drives in one year currently), at a very reasonable price, so we jumped on it - well, actually, we sat in it and looked at it and test drove it. We drove it out to Colorado this last weekend (my third "vacation" of the last 2 weeks . . . ahhhh!) and it performed very well, it has quite a bit of pick-up for a car that gets 40 mpg on the highway. Plus, it's surprisingly roomy inside, despite it's smallish appearance.
Anyway, owning a Civic reminds me of the old brown (dad said it was a 1983 - or was it 1982) civic we used to have. Well, one day, I found a Coca-Cola Classic in the car and called dad at work and asked him if I could have it. He consented. Well, I can't remember if I put it over ice or drank it warm or what, but to this day I despise regular Coke, and I think that experience may be the culprit.
Well, that's all for now.
