More Wedding Info

As I mentioned previously, ask questions and you shall receive answers. Janice has provided me with some information regarding hotels and what not in the Goliad area, and here is the jist of it.
1. The hotel where rooms are reserved is west of Goliad about 30 minutes, so it is 30 minutes closer to San Antonio and 30 minutes farther from Houston than Goliad itself is. That hotel is the Best Western Texas Inn (361-358-9999) . . . it should be under "Grahmann wedding" and the group rate is $65.
2. There is a less nice hotel in Goliad, the Antler's Inn. It is $45-50/night, and is walking distance (might be a long walk, but if you do more cardio you can have more cake) to just about everything. Janice says "It is a nice enough hotel for me, i.e., it appears to be clean and safe." The rate is for 1-4 people. No rooms are reserved there, but it's January, and I can't imagine it being booked. The number there is 361-645-8215.
3. Janice says to avoid the Budget Inn in Goliad she "wouldn't recommend anyone staying there."
4. There are only 1-2 flights a day into Victoria and they only come from Houston and are some form of Continental . . . it's big at the larger Houston airport (I think).
5. There is a bed and breakfast with 3 rooms (one already booked by a friend of Janice) in town. The bedrooms are upstairs and apparently it's a pretty nice place (keep in mind, Goliad, TX : - ) ). Those rooms run about $100/night, one is 90 and one is 110. The number is 1-866-546-2874 and e-mail is phm5252@aol.com . . . Phyllis and Richard Moore.
Ok, and since I really don't have any idea what is what with regard to the wedding, Janice has been kind enough to allow me to provide her contact info in case anyone has any questions:

Don't worry, she's not THAT mean! j/k Janice : - )
For anyone who wants to rough it, Janice has a large back yard, you can camp outside, possibly even next to the fenced in area where the dogs will be residing.

Thank you, Evan and Janice, this is great info! I suspect that we will try to fit in an Austin stop before or after to see Anwyl's cousins.

Also, this is a test comment -- I didn't know mine weren't showing up properly, but upon request have changed to a comma-free display name. Just out of curiosity, what was happening to the previous comments? Could you see them at all?

You can see the comments, but when you "mt" comment, you don't show up on the "recent comments" link, so it's hard to know when you comment. It takes a little while for blogger to clue in to your name change, so give it a little time . . . I had to close my browser and then log back in and do a little voodoo magic here and there, but now you can see I'm ET, not Evan Tromble . . . so it works in time.
How's your stay in Goodland going? Have the cats taken to you yet?
