Hello from Hawaii. We arrived yesterday afternoon after an eight-hour flight from Dallas. There aren't any pictures yet, but we're heading out for a tour of the island (Oahu) today. We'll let you know if anything interesting happens.
In case you haven't already heard, we're spending Nicole's spring break here while our apartment gets a new paint job to fix up all the damage caused by the Thanksgiving steam bath.

So, tell me how long it takes you to get sick of people saying "Aloha" and "Mahalo".
In my case, it was about -5 minutes.

Good point, Evan -- that's a close call -- I'll go with 'howdy.' Actually, I think aloha is more annoying, but at least it means you're in Hawaii and not Texas!!!!
