Surprise weigh-in

Rachel had her one-month check-up with the pediatrician this morning, and she weighed in at 10 lbs, 10 oz. That's a gain of more than a pound from her last measurement ten days ago! We thought she was getting a little bigger, but we had no idea it was to the tune of almost two ounces a day.

Our next appointment is not for another month—in fact, after we move to Pittsburgh—so we won't be able to track her growth over the next few weeks unless we take her to the grocery store. But the moral of the story is: plan your visits now. Her days as a cute little baby are numbered.
