We woke up Saturday morning to snow. After getting ready, we headed out to meet up with Karen, Noah, and Rebecca for the Joys of Cookie Tour in Lawrenceville and have brunch at the Coca Cafe (Roy had the Avacado/Bacon Omelet, I had the Roasted Vegetable Omelet, and Rachel enjoyed Roasted Potatoes). I really liked this Cookie idea. Stores along Butler Street offered free samples of cookies, locations were identified by a numbered Gingerbread Man or by following the event map. We went into stores we wouldn't have any other reason to, but found some really nice places to shop. Karen, Rebecca, and I are planning on returning soon to shop for shoes.
Saturday night was the Annual Google Holiday Party. This year the venue was the Heinz History Center. Like last year, the food and drinks were awesome.
Sunday was spent freezing while the Steelers lost to the Raiders. It was our first NFL game. Though the team lost, it was fun to experience the fan fare. However, there is something appealing to watching the game from home - no traffic, warmth, or lines to wait in.
Rachel's weekend was spent with Christy and Gracie. Each night, we brought home a very exhausted child.
As far as weekends go, this one was a good one.

Sounds like fun. Did you get any ideas for holiday cookies as well?
