Earlier this week, I received notification that my blood type is O+. Apparently, it's a fairly common blood type. According to wikipedia, it's the most common worldwide and almost as common as A+ in the US. And, while it's not the universal donor, it's the universal + donor, so I guess I should continue to do my part to stock the blood bank.

Grandma is O-. Isn't Jenn also O+?
No. Jenn is O-. That's why she had to get the shots when she was pregnant and I didn't know my blood type. Turns out, she needed them because I'm +.
