I went to Russellville to give a demo of WaterGEMS to some faculty at Arkansas Tech University. Why? I'm not entirely sure.
Anyway, on my way out of town I was spotted at a light (waiting to turn left to get on the on ramp for I-40 westbound). During this time, I saw a dog. Then, the dog was in the road. Then, the dog was in traffic. A car was headed for the dog. The car was on top of the dog. The car went over the dog. Literally. The dog was up and off the road.
It was a relatively small dog. It was smallest than Joy. It was smaller than any dog I would ever get. But, it was a good thing. Apparently, it was able to fit below the ground clearance of the automobile.
It scampered off. I don't know where it was headed. I don't know whether it made it. But, it dodged one bullet (or tire).
The rest of the drive home was relatively uneventful.

I'm assuming you were "stopped" at the light. If not, I'd like to know who you were "spotted" by.
Ugh. The perils of posting using my phone. I proof read some, but not diligently enough.
The phone is always putting "sine" instead of "some."
Lucky dog!
