We had lunch at Your Pie in the market area of Savannah. We looked at a couple other places before selling on the create your own 10-inch pizza place. It was 11:45, and a couple of the places had yet to open for the day. Apparently, Savannah is a little sleepy.
The 6 of us shared 3 pizzas. Dad and Pam shared one of the signature ones, and it had feta, chicken, spinach, and tomatoes. Andrew and I split one with ham and pineapple, while Lucas and Jenn split one based on pepperoni and sausage (Jenn's half also had jalapeños and green olives).
It was just the right amount of food, I think. I could have eaten more, but probably didn't need to.
The pizza was good. The toppings were reasonably applied, a hearty amount without being overpowering. The crust was relatively thin, but substantial enough to support the toppings. It was crunchy without being hard, which is a solid combination.
We finished the meal with gelato from the same place. Jenn had lemon. It was very good, but definitely tart. Dad and Pam shared the cookies and cream, which I had been eyeing. I stole a bite and it was quite delicious. The boys and I settled on mint chocolate chip. We didn't have any issues finishing it off in a reasonable amount of time.
