Happy Easter! 3

There's nothing like a kid-snub to put one in a celebratory mood. Yesterday morning, on the way to school for the annual Easter-egg hunt, Maëva told me she didn't want me to come because she wanted to hold her teacher's hand. I didn't take it personally. I understand the attraction of teachers. I dropped Maëva off and then joined some of the other moms to go hide chocolate eggs in a neighbor's field. That done, we went back to school to meet the kids and teachers and walk with them to the field. Sure enough, when they came out the door, Maëva was right up front holding her teacher's hand! She proudly walked all the way there with her teacher. Then, during the activity, she started to get tired (we sprung forward on Sunday) and came over to cling. We walked back to school together.
