The Princess and the Dice

Wednesday afternoon, Maëva asked to try out her new roller blades (hand-me-downs from Rosie). She got on her new pads, blades and helmet and went outside. She complained about feeling a rock in her blade, but I dismissed her complaint as she is quite princess-and-the-pee-ish about footwear and Laureva was in the middle of her screaming fit. After skating around a bit, she brought it up again. She really did think there was a rock in her blade. I went to check it out. When I took off her left blade, I got a good chuckle. Inside, I found four dice, a necklace and two cardboard paperdoll supports! It really must have felt quite uncomfortable. We removed the intrudors and she was back in action.
