Saturday, September 1st. After breakfast, and a game of Shimmer and Shine, Mom fixed both girls up with fancy braided hairdos (a daily occurrence during her visit). Then errands to get compression socks for Mom at the pharmacy and her favorite raspberry tarts at the bakery in Aubagne. Score on both! Marie-Elisabeth joined us for lunch of leftover pizza, green salad, leftover blackberry pie and bakery tarts. Then the girls, Mom and I worked on a 150-piece underwater scene puzzle that Maëva got for her birthday. We'd never put it together before. It took us about thirty minutes, I think. We left at 1:45 pm to take Mom to the airport. Got her checked in to her Air Lingus flight and watched her get through security. Now we're back home. Mom should be on her way to Dublin in under and hour. Bon voyage! Thanks for coming, Mom/Grandma!
