Thursday, Rachel had a pre-departure meeting for her Guatemala trip, and Lydia had a band concert. Nicole and Rachel got a ride with Rachel's friend. The boys and I went to the concert.
Rachel got to meet her roommates for the trip, but that's all I heard. She and Nicole were home when we returned from the concert, but they left shortly thereafter to get more dinner.
Lydia had told me that her band wasn't ready for the concert. I wasn't sure what she meant at the time, but they played three pieces and the middle one was noticeably less polished. She confirmed after that that's what she was talking about. I still thought they did pretty well. The boys were well behaved, but got antsy toward the end. The four bands played for more than ninety minutes in all.
We got an email this evening asking if Lydia would move back to the Tuesday/Thursday frisbee team. She was briefly assigned to that team, and we tried to switch her back because we hadn't expected frisbee to overlap with basketball, but they wouldn't do it at the time. She's thinking about it.
