The Silver Spring cat trio—Flopsy, Mopsy, and Kitten-tail—are staying with us in Baltimore this week. We originally planned to keep them sequestered in the back rooms while Gibson and Amie roamed the front, but we cannot stand a divided house, so we threw open the doors and let come what may. So far, no major difficulties. They tend to segregate themselves. This morning, though, Kitty ventured all the way to the kitchen to drink from our cats' custom water bowl (I made it at Amazing Glaze), and Gibson and Amie just watched her, so maybe there's hope for amicability yet.
