Grandma's Visit: She's Off

Last night, I set my phone alarm to vibrate at 4:30 am in order to nurse Laureva before waking Mom at 4:45 and heading out to the airport at 5. Laureva woke up early and nursed about 4, so I reset my alarm for 4:40, pressed save, and went back to sleep. I woke up at 4:53. Oops. Somehow the alarm on my phone got turned off. We were a little later heading out than originally planned, but we got there in plenty of time. There was no line at check-in, so an hour ahead was plenty. At 6:15, I left Mom waiting in line for security and headed out so I could be back home in time to nurse Laureva again at 7. Mom's flight was supposed to leave Marseille at 7 am headed for Madrid. She's supposed to get back to Oklahoma City at 7 pm local time: a 19-hour trip. Yesterday was such a lovely warm sunny day and this morning it was raining, so she seemed to have less qualms about leaving! Thanks for coming Mom and bringing lots of goodies and helping out with our Halloween party. We're all going to miss you, but especially the girls who won't get as much attention now that you're gone. Bon voyage and come back soon.
