Laureva: 5 months

Today is the 25th anniversay of the fall of the Berlin Wall and Laureva's 5-month birthday. This morning was her second pool session and she is already doing the statue (when they stand up straight on your hand and you lift them out of the water). She was quite proud of herself. She can now pick up her pacifier and put it in her mouth all by herself. She is becoming more and more vocal. She likes to "talk," saying "da da da" a lot. She loves to be around other kids, especially her sister. She will often calm down when Maëva joins her on the rug to play. She eats applesauce now and enjoys her evening bottle with cereal powder in it. We spent this afternoon at a family meal at her godfather's house where she revelled in all the attention bestowed upon her and tried apple-chestnut sauce for the first time. She likes playing with her feet and the baby she sees in the mirror. She makes a lot of noises with her tongue and occasionally even gives herself raspberries!
