I had a lovely low key day for my birthday with some unexpected relaxing alone time. Maëva was home sick but was basically feeling better. I asked her if she wanted to accompany me to the tea room in Aubagne for tea and chocolates. She declined, choosing to spend the day with her grandmother instead. So off I went to Aubagne for a quiet cup of birthday tea by myself. I bought some birthday chocolates, ran some errands, picked up a sandwich and some peanut butter Ben & Jerry's then came home for a lunch of sandwich and a beer before picking up Laureva. While Laureva napped in the afternoon, I enjoyed my birthday ice cream. Sylvain worked in the morning and spent the afternoon celebrating his birthday with friends. Late afternoon, Sophie and Jenny stopped by for tea. Sophie snapped this great shot of Laureva and I:
